About Us

The 15th BN special armed force was established on November 1962 in Indore. Successfully, in 1973, it got included in the provincial corps. Today, the battalion Headquarters is located at Mahesh Guard Line, in the city of Indore.

According to the order of the Police headquarters, the battalion was given an administrative building as well as a residential building on 24/12/82. On the other hand, The CO office of the battalion was shifted to the newly constructed administrative building on 10th June 2010. We have 06 Go’s officers allotted by police headquarters like ( C.O/D.C./A.C. & Doctor). We have NGO officers as well.

Our Facilities

Highrise Building

  • For the convenience of the police families, 1652 housing sites have been approved by P.H.Q. In the first phase 944 house sites have been allotted.
  • In the second phase, it has been proposed to make 708 housing sites.

Hostel

  • For the children of police employees Hostel has been made by the police headquarter in Indore. The responsibility of the hostel was given to the battalion on 02/02/2022.
  • At present 162 students can stay in the hostel. There are 78 beds for girls and 84 beds for boys

Vehicle

  • Battalion has a total of 49 Vehicles. In which six are heavy duty vehicles, 20 motorcycles and the remaining are light duty vehicles.

Petrol Pump

  • Petrol Pump has been operated from 01/11/1969 since 05/06/ 2014 CNG is also being operated by the petrol pump.
  • The annual dividend of the petrol pump has been around Rs. 65 lakh.
  • Around 32 people from the police family have been given employment.

Police Super Market

  • Supermarket started on 1 April 1998. In 2013 CPC canteen started in one part of the supermarket.
  • Total 04 children from the police family were employed in the supermarket. The annual dividend of the supermarket has been around Rs. 2, 40,000.

Cafeteria/Tea Canteen

  • The cafeteria has been operated in the battalion since 1992.
  • Sachi’s milk is available at a cheaper price than the market.
  • Annual dividend from the cafeteria is around Rs. 1, 50,000.

Police Co-Operative Society

  • Petrol Pump has been operated from 01/11/1969 since 05/06/ 2014 CNG is also being operated by the petrol pump.
  • The annual dividend of the petrol pump has been around Rs. 65 lakh.
  • Around 32 people from the police family have been given employment.

Gas Agency

  • The gas agency was started from 01/12/1998 in the name of Bharat Petroleum Corporation limited.
  • 2787 connections were given by this agency out of which 1942 are operational.
  • Annual dividend from the gas agency is around Rs. 3, 00,000.

Flour Mill

  • The flour mill has been operated in the battalion. Monthly dividend from flour mill is around Rs. 2000 to Rs. 2500.

Police Public School

  • M.P. Police Public was established on 15/06/1998, up to class II only.
  • In 2002 the school was extended up to class V.
  • In 2010-11 the school was extended up to class X .
  • Higher Secondary was recognized in the year 2012-13.
  • Fee waiver is provided to the students of police families who died in service.
  • Presently 905 students are studying in this out of which 202 students are from police families.
  • In total, 631 students are getting scholarships from the MP government.
  • There are 8 smart classes inside the school which are being operated smoothly.

Hospital

  • The hospital has been operating since 1977.
  • Medical facilities are provided to the government employed RAPTS, Police Radio & PRTS.
  • Ecg and pathology labs were started in 2008 and 2010 respectively
  • In 2012 Physiotherapy was started in the hospital and the charge of therapy is only Rs.20 for police employed as well as for the general public.
  • Pathology lab was started in 2010 lab facilities provided to the police personnel as well as to the general public on a basic fee rate are less than government hospitals.
  • Lab needs a machine for the Thyroid test.
  • X-ray facilities have been provided in the hospital since 2003.
  • From 03/06/2019 digital X-ray facilities are also available at the hospital.

Our Special Achievements

During Corona Time

  • During the corona period two pieces of Oxygen concentrator machine and four pieces of Oxygen cylinder were made available free of cost in coordination with THE RISING WORLD FOUNDATION at the Unit hospital of Battalion.
  • In Unit hospital ten pieces of Oxygen cylinder are present.

Vaccination Center

  • Vaccination center was run in a police public higher secondary school in which the first, second & third vaccination work was done successfully for the police personnel and their families and the general public.
  • Mrignayani Ladies Beauty Parlor was started from 20/10/2020 for the purpose of providing employment to the women and children of the employees of the battalion.
  • The annual dividend from Mrignayani Ladies Beauty Parlor Rs.71,000.

R.O. Plant

  • Form 27/08/2015 R.O. the plant was started keeping in mind no profit and no loss.
  • Battalion spent a total Rs. 5, 20,000 for setting up the R.O. plant.
  • Battalion sold R.O. water Rs. 15 per bottle by vehicle and Rs. 10 per bottle.

Moto Stambh (Pillar)

  • The motto of the battalion was prepared and placed near the entrance.

Battalion Map

  • Map granite placed near the entrance of the battalion.

Library

  • A free library was created for the study of the children of police personnel.
  • The library has a collection of competitive exam books, novels, magazines, and syllabus books.

Special Training

  • One month training camp was conducted for the mental, physical & spiritual development of officers and employees.
  • Training was provided by the best educationist, social worker and spiritual organization of Indore

Intellectual Development and Efficiency Training Camp

  • For enhancing the intellectual development and efficiency of police officers/ employees 7 day’s police training camp was organized at PIONEER INSTITUTE INDORE.
